Allow Masjid Muhammad to Distribute Your Zakat
Masjid Muhammad of Atlantic City provides the opportunity for you to help local, Muslim families in need through your zakat donations. We are the largest masjid in Atlantic City and are constantly working to meet the needs of the underserved in our community.
Sadly, Atlantic County has the highest poverty rate in the state of New Jersey. In the past year, we have distributed thousands of dollars in zakat funds. However, the masjid continues to have a deficit and we fall short in meeting the needs of our community.
In accordance to the dictates of Islamic jurisprudence, 100% of your zakat donation will be given directly to the neediest Muslim families and individuals. Each recipient is screened and their need is verified by our board. Zakat funds act as a safety net for Muslim families. Moreover, it supports the masjid’s mission in building a sustainable community.
You may donate online using the form below. If you prefer to pay by check, you may mail a check made out to “Masjid Muhammad of Atlantic City” with ‘zakat’ written on the memo line to 300 N. Albany Ave., Atlantic City, NJ 08401. You may also pay in person by seeing Imam Amin Muhammad on Fridays after Jumu’ah.
